Organic Biting?

by Kristofer Young February 2, 2012

I may be naive, but this issue of Organic Bytes looks more like Organic Bites to me.

I have inserted above a copy of the top of today’s e-mail from the Organic Consumers Association (OCA). Please note that in the headline we are told that Monsanto and Big Ag are “Trying to…

by Kristofer Young January 28, 2012

For clarity and for medicolegal considerations, let me be clear; I am not a gastroenterologist.

But, please note this Google review about me, my wife Jo, and our office, written by Rachel on‎ – Jan 28, 2012:

“I went to Dr. Young with a serious case of ulcerative colitis that had been diagnosed…

Food-Caused Illness: A great response

by Kristofer Young January 27, 2012

Center for Food Safety

Even though famous and brilliant doctors like Mark Hyman, Dean Ornish, Mehmet Oz, and multitudes of others have been working for years to educate Americans about the amount of pain and disease that is caused by what we eat, most Americans still don’t get it. Additionally, when…

Corporations are NOT People and Money is NOT Speech

by SPK January 20, 2012

Why we need a Constitutional Amendment against Corporate Personhood

                   tea party

This will take a second. The jurisprudence behind corporate personhood did not come into existence overnight with the Roberts Gang in the Supreme Court and the Citizens United decision. The idea that a corporation is a person and therefore due the rights of a human being under the Bill of Rights finds its roots in post Civil War America. But to explain the whole issue we have to start back still further in our nations history. The Revolutionary War which birthed the United States was as much a war against Royally chartered corporations like the East India Company as it was against British rule.

When Robin and I first met, I made this soufflé for her. That was many moons (and a few decades)…

The Wheel Doesn’t Need to be Reinvented

by Kristofer Young January 1, 2012

The wheel doesn’t need to be reinvented, and I don’t have to work to restate what Dean Ornish, MD has stated so clearly on his website:

“People often think that advances in medicine have to be a new drug, a new laser, or a surgical intervention to be powerful—something really high-tech and…

Kids’ Food-Induced Behavior Wreaking Havoc on Your Holidays?

by Kristofer Young December 18, 2011

An enormous number of American families suffer with children with food-induced challenging behavior. For many, the stress of these behaviors damages the entire family.
