Widders v. Furchtenicht (October 21, 2008) - The decision came in yesterday in favor of City Attorney Monte Widders. We conclude that the action was timely filed. While we recognize the strong public policy in favor of putting initiative measures before the electorate, that policy is not advanced where, as here, the proposed measures are plainly unconstitutional on their face.
