Poet and Technologist

Robert Peake lived in Ojai from 2005-2011. He worked as the Chief Information Officer of The David Allen Company, was the webmaster of the Ojai Poetry Festival and a regular at poetry events throughout Southern California. In 2009, a bear climbed a tree across the street from where Robert lived, and met an untimely end. The poem Robert wrote in response was distributed to raise awareness for the Ojai Wildlife League, read at the dedication ceremony of the Arcade bear sculpture, and was quoted in the Los Angeles Times. Robert now lives in London, England. He continues to write about poetry and other adventures on his website.
