Profile

Linda Harmon  is a  freelance  writer, fine artist, business woman, and community activist.  She has lived in Ojai for over 21 years,  raised her three children here and is married to Len Klaif. Their joint family includes five adult children and  two lovely grandchildren.

Originally from the Midwest, Linda studied art and literature and graduated with a BA in Journalism from Michigan State University. After  moving to Ojai for the trees, change of seasons  and a rural environment, she has enjoyed developing her art  and becoming part of the community. She considers herself lucky to have found a home in a city that enables its inhabitants to live full, realized, creative lives with close social connections.

She is currently beginning her second term as an Ojai City Arts Commissioner, is a longtime Board member of the Ojai Center for the Arts and a Board member of Ojai Trees, a nonprofit organization promoting citizens to take responsibility of our urban forest.

She appreciates the beauty of this world, is striving to be a good steward and loving  every moment in it.
