The Imaginal Institute
"If one is not half mad how can one give birth to a dancing star?" ~ Nietzsche
Two of Leigh’s heroes are Pinky and the Brain, as she has regular plans to try and take over the world, though in her case, the plan is to stage the imaginal revolution.
She’s lived with her husband (along with assorted other furry creatures equine, feline, and canine) Oak View for ten years, learning to love sawdust as they’ve been re-imagining their house into a California bungalow.
Leigh has a varied (some say schizophrenic) background in the arts, nonprofit management, and consulting in marketing and strategic planning, and has a doctorate in cultural mythology and psychology. She also has a deep belief in the power of community, and one of her most proud accomplishments was leading the community charge to save former elementary school as the Oak View Park and Resource Center.
She is the Founding Fomenter of The Imaginal Institute, a company that celebrates the leap between ideas and action through online learning, conferences, and publishing.
