This author has lived in Ojai, California for the past 12 years. Mike Didj began writing 30 years ago - a great deal of his writing can be found on: BardoSurfer.com.  An actor, Michael has a major role in the play: Nightsong For The Boatman, which will open at the Odyssey Theatre in L.A. November 19th, 2010. Michael is also a musician and has performed with his didjeridoo throughout Ventura County with many bands and in a wide variety of venues. Recently, Michael utilized the sonic properties of his didjeridoo to bless "The Wild Beast" - an outdoor pavilion, located on the campus of Cal Arts in Santa Clarita. He is also a videographer. He has travelled though out the Hawaiian Islands, North America, Australia, Thailand and Europe and has lived in Arizona, New Orleans, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Canada. An avid surfer, Mike also practices tai chi and yoga and has enjoyed teaching these arts for over 14 years. Michael received a BS in Psychology from the University of Scranton in 1989 and is a 500 hour certified Massage Therapist.

Plastic Rainbow

I pulled this photo from changents.com. The garbage patch the size of Texas continues to grow and is off the coast of California, surrounds the Hawaiian islands and stops just off the coast of Japan. The above photo demonstrates that plastic has encroached our food supply.
