Another great milestone for The Ojai Post today. I always enjoy posting the original entry from February 27, 2006.
The Ojai Post is a community blog, featuring Ojai residents from all walks of life writing about the unique Ojai experience. Ojai is a special place, not just for its geography, flora and fauna, small-town architecture and rich native American history – its also because of the people – talented, creative souls who tend to walk to the beat of their own drummer and carve their own path through life. Check in for daily musings, rants, Ojai news and greater goings-on from the place some call Shangri-La.
After traveling for nine months in 2012, AliSun and I have been wintering in Ojai. Travel has only reinforced for me that Ojai is one of the best darn places on the planet, and winter here is truly spectacular.
We’re leaving in about three weeks for the southwest US and maybe Hawaii in the fall. See ya around, Ojai!

Thanks all, supporting the Post continues to be an honor and a pleasure. I do realize that the more energy I put into it, the more lively it feels, and I would think that our participating authors and readers feel the same way.
On that note, I think its time to add a few new authors. Any candidates can email me: tyler – at – ojaipost dot com
