In Ojai, so many people are disgusted, afraid, disenchanted with, or just generally totally uninterested in politics that I figured I’d better couch this issue in terms of health and wellness. Our democracy is seriously ill. It has eaten far too much Corporate Gluten, Factory Farmed Meat and Big Agra GMO Produce. It’s being treated with Drugs from Big Pharma, forced to purchase Inadequate Health Insurance from Private, For-Profit Insurance Companies. Our democracy is overdrawn and it’s being charged unbelievable Usurious Fees by Wall St. Banks. It’s suffering from too much Agression and it’s perpetrating Illegal Wars. It’s Smoking too much Oil. It definitely doesn’t get enough exercise.
