I can handle hot or humid, but not both. Stinking hot.
The Ojai Peace Vigil is changing its starting time to 6 p.m.next Friday, July 23, because of the summer heat.
Too much to do, printer ink cartridge holder broke creating more errands……Is sweat good for the complexion? I hope so. Running around town trying to get the word out about new publication……local features about great people that I hope will be read by many, but if the car overheats I will lose all sanity. So……..buy The Ojai Bubble. It is entertaining, has profiles of many locals and local treats, including Sid Cohn, Jodi Womack, a sandwich at Bonnie Lu’s, River Sauvageau, L’Auberge Restaurant of old, Anca Colbert, Beatrice Wood, Chris and Deb’s wedding. It will take your mind off the heat. Selling it at The French Festival in SB tomorrow – I hope it is cooler there. . .
We live in a reclaimed desert-it happens every year. People think it’s “abnormal” if it’s not 72-80 degrees all year.
