This is a verification of an action taken by the Ojai City Council in closed session Tuesday night. Ojai City Manager Jere Kersnar has been placed on paid administrative leave. John Baker has been hired as Interim City Manger until the City Council hires a new city manager. John Baker was Interim City Manger between Dan Singer’s departure and Jere Kersnar’s arrival.

This is as much as I know for now. I waited until I had confirmation of Kersnar’s status and the name of the Interim City Manger before sending this out. Further information will be reported as it is made available to me.
