I was driving on 33 to Ojai from Ventura this afternoon, and just below Creek Rd. at about 3 p.m. there was an HORRIFIC accident, with CPR being administered to a man in the westbound lane. I was looking on the Post to see if there was any further information, and am hoping he is okay. It was one of the worst accident scenes I have ever seen.

So sad. I hope everybody is ok and will be all right.
The story and a photo are on the OVN blog. A motorcyclist was killed on Arnez Grade running head on into a minivan. He died. The people in the van are ok. Witnesses said the van driver was legal and that the motorcyclist was passing “or something”.

Jerry was a friend of mine since high school. I went to grammar school with his wife. I can’t even imagine what she is going through at this time. We just got back into town today after being gone while this happened. Our prayers go out to the Myers family and friends.
