I met Marty once, she touched my life with glorious inspiration. She made the time to talk with me about school garden programs, as i was trying to get something started in the VUSD. It has been a sad month with many losses and more on the horizon. Yet the river of life flows on... this evening sat near a reservoir/marsh area and watched dozens of ducks swimming...suddenly they took flight and flew in their magical formation...you can feel their delight as they swim and fly...birds are like angels on this Earth...so fitting that the service for Marty was held outdoors, high in the hills overlooking this sublime valley...I feel her spirit is at peace.
