Debut Performance in Ventura County
Saturday, December 12th at 7:30 pm
A holiday concert, Comfort and Joy, with Grammy Award-winning musicians, Tingstad and Rumbel, will take place at Meditation Mount on Saturday, December 12th at 7:30 pm.
Tickets are available online at www.meditation.com; $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Meditation Mount is located at 10340 Reeves Road, Ojai, CA, 93023. A holiday ‘Food Drive’ is part of the concert.
Grammy Award winners Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel have performed, recorded and toured together for nearly 25 years with 19 albums to their credit. In 1998, their album, “American Acoustic,” was honored as Acoustic Instrumental Album of the Year, which led to a Carnegie Hall appearance in 2000. In 2003 they received a Grammy Award for their album, “Acoustic Garden.”

Eric Tingstad is a composer who plays a variety of string instruments. Nancy Rumbel is one of the world’s premiere oboe and English horn players and a virtuoso of the double ocarina. Nancy is also a prestigious member of the Grammy Nominations and Awards Committee. Eric and Nancy began their collaboration in1985. Their debut album, The Gift, quickly became a holiday classic.
