Last Sunday 60-Minutes did a segment on how the swine-flu vaccine is tested and produced. It showed thousands (millions?) of chicken eggs, produced at a top-secret undisclosed chicken factory farm location (so no one can tamper with the egg supply) being innoculated, in a sterile environment...then incubated...the whole scenario was straight out of Science Fiction...

The content is a mixture of facts and inaccurate associations of information. It is wise to get what facts are available and know the sources. How ever the manner in which she presnts information is laden with the subjective opinions to pursuade doubt as she is attempting to accuse "the government" of the intention topusade with a presumed evil intention. As a primary care physician with 30 years of real world experience and the privlege of caring for thousands of people regarding their health care decisions over the course of their lives (now in my 25th year), I have seen and experienced a disproportiante level of avoidable suffering due to the influenza illness in comparison of the effects of the vaccine.I read and asses the same available facts with a much different take. One thing I do agree with is do not consent to a vaccine that you do not feel comfortable with getting.

Had the regular flu shot in September. Caught H1N1 in the blood lab waiting to have my blood drawn. Air borne by a sick baby in the waiting room. Have been down with it since Oct. 30. I'm immuno compromised post radiation and chemo. It's nothing to play around with. It will mutate and grow more virulant with time. Went to the store to get any supplies-shelves stripped EMPTY of cough syrups, drops, decongestants, kleenex. Hoarders. You're totally on your own. Good luck.

Hey, if you are worried about the vaccine, by all means, just don't get it.

funny, that particular H1N1 case Cara allegedly has has gone unreported, while all others have been reported (names, of course, remain private).

Follow the money. This H1N1 is all hype and no bite. Does anyone really believe the federal government is helping to reduce suffering?

I went to a dinner party last night, where I and other guests enjoyed copious amounts of alcohol.

I awoke this morning with flu-like symptoms; headache, nausea, chills, sore eyes.

As a result, I have unfortunately tested positive for what a cadre of experts are now calling Wine Flu.

This debilitating condition is serious - and it appears this is NOT an isolated case.

Reports are flooding in from across the country of others now being diagnosed with Wine Flu.

To anyone exhibiting the aforementioned symptoms, experts recommend a cup of tea and a bit of a lie down.

However, should your condition worsen, you should immediately rent a DVD and call in sick.

Then take the only drug proven to combat this usual type of flu - a McDonald's Happy Meal.

If that doesn't work, further application of the original liquid, in familiar quantities, has been shown to do the trick.

Wine Flu does not NEED to be life threatening!

If treated early, it can be eradicated within a 24-48 hour period.

NOTE

If you find you are complaining a lot, it may be that the virus has mutated into Whine Flu.

This is particularly common in men and can spread to their partners whose symptoms may include a serious case of eye-rolling...

The swine flu is a hoax. There's a sucker born every minute so companies like Protein Sciences will make some coin along with those collecting kick backs.

The US Department of Health and Human Services on Tuesday announced that it has awarded a 35-million-dollar contract to Protein Sciences, which could be extended for another five years to reach 147 million dollars.--AFP
