BREAKING NEWS FROM OJAI MUSEUM REGARDING SOHM SCREENING:

The Ojai Valley Museum announced today that due to requests by local photographers and others, Joseph Sohm’s presentation “Visions of America” will now be available to a wider audience. The event, a benefit for the museum, begins at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 5 at the Ojai Theatre, 145 E. Ojai Avenue. Admission is $10 per person.
Reservations are not required.

Sohm, internationally known photo-historian and local Ojai resident, will screen multimedia music videos of his photography that take viewers on a journey into the very meaning of “being American.” He will be on stage to describe his experiences of three decades of photographing in 50 states.

This Ojai Valley Museum fundraiser has been made possible by these Ojai sponsors: Olga Jones, CFP - Ameriprise Financial Services, Tom and Cathryn Krause - Behavioral Science Technologies, Maren Long, Ojai Community Bank, The Village Florist, Dick and Jane Weirick, Dietrich and Valerie Schmidt, Alan and Jan Rains, and Carolyn Huntsinger.

For more information, call (805) 646-8405.

Thanks for the update, Myrna - this looks like a really great multimedia presentation.
