Thanks for the update. My credit card was charged at both Valero and the Thai Restaurant across the street last year, multiple times after I used it once at the Valero! Sorry to hear it's/they're back. I only used my debit card now anywhere, but never again at Valerol it's cash only there. Heads up--the 76 is now Ojai Gas (locally owned and operated?) and their prices are much more competitive.

WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT VALERO GAS STATION IS STILL SCAMMING CREDIT CARDS. I GOT GAS THERE THIS MORNING AND WITHIN TWO HOURS GOT A CALL FROM MY CREDIT CARD INFORMING ME THAT I HAD A CHARGE IN OHIO ON MY CARD. I ONLY WENT THERE BECAUSE I THOUGHT THEY HAD FIXED THE PROBLEM. I WILL BE FILING A POLICE REPORT TOMORROW REGARDING THIS MATTER.

When I first came to Ojai, in 1977, I was advised "The only reason that you have to lock your car when you go downtown is that someone might leave a bag of Zucchini in your backseat." But the easiest place to get your car broken into was and is our various trailheads.Times have changed and they haven't.
