Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of an early-morning fire that completely destroyed a home at 411 Grand Avenue and caused extensive damage to the attic of a neighboring residence.Ventura County Fire public information officer Bill Nash said upon arrival, responding firefighters from nearby Fire Station 21 on East Ojai Avenue reported that the single-story, single-family residence was completely involved in flames, making it difficult to immediately determine the point of origin.
