Transition to Nowhere

"
Bruce Sterling happens to be one of my favorite science fiction novelists. He writes for wired.com and is considered by many to be a visionary. In this talk he gave at the Reboot 11 Festival, Bruce offers insight on what we can expect in the coming decade. His discourse seems to target gen-exers whom he playfully calls techno goths. Among his many poignant observations, one that stands out is his opinion that most politicians want only to be in the narrative even though it might serve us better for them to leave permanent intelligent infrastructure. He also has an interesting suggestion for what we can do to improve our lives. His talk goes for approximately 40 minutes and is well worth your while.

More mildly entertaining cries for help from an arrogant, self righteous, jaded, urbanite educated beyond his intelligence.
