OK, folks, everyone is talking about this, postcards are mysteriously showing up in PO Boxes, digital immigrants are tweeting it, and the tenniserati are besides themselves with the thought that we could win this thing. One vote per email address - it takes about 20 seconds:

Who gets to decide on what the money will be spent? Does the public get any input on this?

I don't know the details at the moment but I will say this:
When Ojai gets an infusion of cash it has a rippling effect...some may benefit directly...others indirectly.

The USTA will feature and promote The Top Ten (10) Finalists online and will enable the commencement of Nationwide voting for The 2009 Best Tennis Town. Voting will be conducted online and will close on July 26, 2009 at 11:59 pm ET. Get all your family and friends across the country to vote for your community during this period!

Not sure if y'all have heard, but OJAI MADE THE TOP THREE!!! Amazing! We will win at least $25,000! 2nd place is $50,000 and first is $100,000!!! Soooo exciting! YAY for OJAI!
