This is a photo I took last week at Salt Point, which is roughly midway between Bodega Bay and Mendocino. Beautiful sunny day on the Northern California coast. Any travels or adventures coming up for you?
We didn't go abalone hunting, but there were a number of 'floaters' and ab hunters doing the dive.
We were fortunate to find what appeared to be a sea lion nursery, where parents were taking care of a couple pups in a protected area. Got some pretty decent photos with my little Canon point-and-shoot camera. I'll post one in the extended entry.
went to Texas via train earlier this week, and flew home last night...leaving (driving a hybrid) this morning for San Francisco - Port Townsend - Seattle - Concord, coming home on Thurs!

Salt Point is a major abalone hunting spot.
Did you catch any?
