Happy Mothers for Peace Day!

Happy Mothers for Peace Day! Julia Ward Howe wrote the original Mother's Day Proclamation in 1870 to call for women to rise up and end war. This year we made donations to CodePink and the Peace Corps in honor of the mothers in our lives. What are you doing to honor your mother(s)?

My mom is pretty traditional (political donations wouldn't exactly fly with her), so we took her to a nice family breakfast and gave her a present. She loved it.
