2009 Ojai Day Poster submissions

Heads up from the Ojai Day Committee...

The Ojai Day Committee is still accepting submissions by visual artists for selection as the 2009 Ojai Day Poster. The deadline for this once a year opportunity is June 1.

Each year the Committee selects the work of one artist to represent Ojai on the annual event poster that is distributed throughout Ojai and Ventura. Artists are encouraged to submit a camera ready image of their work, contact information, and current biographical for use in publicity.

“Images should be graphically eye catching and say something special about Ojai,” said Linda Harmon, Ojai Day Art Director. “Photos, paintings and mixed media are all welcomed. I know there are a lot of talented artists out there. This is a chance to have your work get quality exposure and represent Ojai.”

Submissions can be emailed to Harmon at _lhart412@roadrunner.com_, mailed to the Committee c/o Linda Harmon, 412 N. Fulton St., Ojai, or dropped off at the City of Ojai’s Boyd Recreation Center, 510 Park Rd. Deadline to submit artwork is Monday, June 1.

If you are mailing your images please include a pre-addressed, stamped envelope for their return after consideration. For further information please contact Ojai Day Art Director Linda Harmon 640-0381.
