Two Quick Actions for Peace!

• Living Peace in Ojai meeting tonight!
> You are invited to include your unique voice by participating in the planning of "Living Peace in Ojai." We are calling a general gathering to explore ideas for this year and start to look for help:
Monday, March 16th, 7:00-9:00 PM at Glen Muse
Already several very interesting suggestions have been floated, but you'll have to join us to hear them!
P.S. By the way, unlike many of last year's gatherings, this one isn't a potluck. Feel free to bring a little snack sweet or drink to share, but only if you are so moved :).

• Support repeal of the death penalty in New Mexico!
> The New Mexico legislature has voted 24-18 in favor of abolishing executions in their state, in favor of life without parole. Governor Bill Richardson, who has voiced support for the death penalty but has also said he could change his mind, has set up a special hotline to get public input on this proposed repeal.
IT'S SO SIMPLE! Just call 1-505-476-2225 - right NOW! - and a recorded voice asks you to voice your support or opposition to HB285. That's it!
