I need your help in connecting me to COMMUNITY LEADERS in MEINERS OAKS and MIRA MONTE.
The Oak View Civic Council (Association) has agreed to help in forming a ‘MEINERS OAKS-MIRA MONTE CIVIC ASSOCIATION” so that those areas will also have a formal representation for their communities. Oak View has very successfully run such an association for at least 15 years.

Once we have a Civic Association representing Meiners Oaks and Mira Monte, it is my plan to do the same thing for the EAST END and UPPER OJAI.
Once we have over 80% of the population of the Ojai Valley represented by a formal organization, which includes the City of Ojai, we can better coordinate activities in the Ojai Valley and hopefully begin to work together better on common projects and problems.
Increasing cooperation between the City of Ojai and the unincorporated areas of the Ojai Valley was one of my main platform items in my campaign for election to the MAC (Ojai Valley Municipal Advisory Council). This is not a formal MAC project but hopefully it will become one in the near future.
