Stabbing in the Wee Hours

Not the entry I was hoping to post this morning, but here you go...hope you had a safe and fun evening.

Location: 200 block of Waite Street, Ojai
Date & Time: 01/01/2009 @ 1:38 a.m.
Unit Responsible: Major Crimes Bureau
Victim: White Male Adult, 27 Years

In the early morning hours of January 1, 2009, Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to a report of an assault victim in the 200 block of Waite Street in Ojai. Deputies located and contacted the victim, who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported by ambulance to the Ojai Valley Community Hospital where he was listed in “critical condition.” Anyone with information related to this incident is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Department.
