AT THIS TIME...THE FORECAST CALLS FOR RAIN TO DEVELOP ACROSS SAN LUIS OBISPO...SANTA BARBARA AND WESTERN VENTURA COUNTIES THIS EVENING OR EARLY TONIGHT...WITH RAIN SLOWLY SPREADING ACROSS VENTURA COUNTY INTO LOS ANGELES COUNTY OVERNIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING. RAIN WILL TURN TO SHOWERS THURSDAY AFTERNOON ACROSS SAN LUIS OBISPO AND WESTERN SANTA BARBARA COUNTIES...BUT IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY ELSEWHERE...BEFORE TURNING TO SHOWERS THURSDAY NIGHT. SOME SHOWERS MAY LINGER INTO FRIDAY MORNING... ESPECIALLY ACROSS VENTURA AND LOS ANGELES COUNTIES.
BY THE TIME THE RAIN ENDS...COASTAL AND VALLEY AREAS ARE GENERALLY EXPECTED TO RECEIVE BETWEEN ONE HALF AND ONE AND A HALF INCHES OF RAIN...WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS EXPECTED SOUTH OF POINT CONCEPTION. FOOTHILL AND MOUNTAIN AREAS ARE GENERALLY EXPECTED TO RECEIVE BETWEEN ONE TO TWO AND A HALF INCHES OF RAIN. IT LOOKS AS THOUGH SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL PROVIDE SOME DECENT OROGRAPHIC ENHANCEMENT OF THE RAINFALL...SO THE HIGHEST TOTALS ARE EXPECTED ON SOUTH FACING SLOPES OF SANTA BARBARA COUNTY AND WESTERN VENTURA COUNTY...WHERE LOCAL TOTALS OVER THREE INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.

The Name-Sign Video is very moving--had to watch it twice--first, to read the sub-titles, as I am "sign impaired," (but I did get the spirit of the message by watching her sign--even without the subtitles) and second, to fully appreciate the beauty of the message behind the Name-Sign for Obama!
Thanks, evan!
