Uncle Jay Explains 2008

Comments (6)

Uncle Jay is very funny and patronizing. I really enjoy it and feel sad that such humor covers a multitude of sins and sort of legitimizes them, enabling them to continue.

I wonder if the suffering poor of Gaza or Iraq can laugh along.

There's sadness in joy and joy in sadness.

Life is not a joke nor is a joker much of a lover. He is entertaining however and offers an escape of sorts.

Nice try, Tyler.

Go Uncle Jay!

Dennis - you are leaving roughly 60% of the comments and perhaps 80% of the word count on this site. You. One person.

This site is not your personal therapy vehicle. The entitlement you feel to make your own voice heard comes with absolutely no commitment to the larger community, and it is coming at the expense of the larger community.

You are drowning out others. Give it a rest. Find your inner silence. And don't give us 2,000 words on finding your inner silence. Or if you do, do it on your own blog. Here's the link in case you forget:

Tyler, Jock and Dennis are 100% of the reason you see no other contributions here.

now you "done" it...

Tyler,

I will honor your request. Have a Happy New Year.
