A few months back, the orchard at the northwest corner of Carne and Grand was uprooted, resulting in a number of giant piles of limbs and trunks across the approximately 10 acre property.
They were burning one of the piles today, with flames shooting 40-50 feet into the sky. White ashes were raining on my car and me as I grabbed a photo with my iPhone…

Nope, making my Dell last, what with the economy and all… I did however spend 99 cents on LED Football last night, and it was worth every penny.
