Sunday in the Park

Every Sunday rain or shine, okay usually just shine, come out to Libbey Park by the fountain for drumming, hoola hooping, dancing or just sit and enjoy. It's a family affair and one of the ongoing highlights of the week right after the Farmer's Market.

Amazing day at the park today. Several new drummers joined us, making about a dozen total. The hoopers and dancers were scintillating, Clay brought out his giant trampoline and set it up on the grass, someone else brought out a slack rope for tight rope walking and lots of people were milling about and watching. What wonderful and consistent gathering for the community each week. I always learn a lot on my drum from Sarteuse (spl?) who mentors and leads with unabashed energy.
