Happy Thanksgiving...Anything is Possible

Comments (4)

I saw this video last year. Thanks so much for posting it. Once again I am moved to tears by the purity of this man's voice.

One of the Great Moments on the Planet! Even though I've seen it before, the tears rolled down my cheeks all over again. Laughing and crying all at the same time. Thank you Dvorah!

It's lovely when it works out, isn't it? Unbearably beautiful...it really feels as if it's happening to us...and the good news is - it is.

Thank you, Dvorah! I remember hearing Paul Potts on NPR -- the aria brought tears while I drove, and it continues to move me. "Nessun Dorma" ("no sleep") is one of the most recognizable arias in Turnadot, and one of my favorite operas of Puccini. Although experienced and trained, Paul was technically an "amateur" when he performed on Britian's Got Talent in 2007 because he claimed he never got paid to perform. more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Potts

Thanks again for posting this, Dvorah! I fell in love with opera as a young 'un (my mother played it to clean house!), and one of my early dreams was to design sets for Il Teatro Milano! (I did get to Italy, though!) One of my favorite divas continues to be Eileen Farrel! Yours?

Happy Thanksgiving, support humane farming, and share some meat with the four-legged ones!
