OVYF says Get Ready Ojai!

The Ojai Valley Youth Foundation’s team of teens and their mentors are launching www.GetReadyOjai.com, an Ojai valley specific disaster-preparedness website that helps residents be prepared in case of disaster. Please join them for the launch celebration event on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. RSVP to 805-640-9555.

Big congrats for getting up a really nice, informative website that everyone can use to get more prepared, and make our community stronger.

(and a quick note - Lisa's post below was our 500th on The Ojai Post. Thanks, everyone!)

not bad.
but I react to "Disasters are coming".
Sounds like Millenium wrote it!!

Also- there is one important point i feel strongly about that was missed.
Everyone should know their neighbors- what their special skills and needs are.
Tyler- I would have forwarded this to the organization but there was no obvious link and since you are listed as a volunteer, i am sure you can relay these thoughts if you deem them appropriate.
