Ronelle “Renee” Letven, M.D., died as the result of injuries suffered in a highway accident on July 12th, 2008. Born in Encino, CA, on Mar 7th, 1949, Ronny lived and practiced psychiatry in several U.S. cities during her career, spanning the country from the Northeast to the Southwest, ending in Encinitas. Though she never lived in Ojai, she loved to visit family here, and especially enjoyed hiking many of our mountain trails.
Ronny was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Baron Letven, and is survived by her father, Hal Letven of Boulder, CO, her sister Deborah and niece Annabel of Santa Monica, her sister Leslie and nephew Robben of Malibu, her son Sunny Letven-Erickson and granddaughter Caela Imbrogno-Erickson and Sunny’s dad, Ronny’s good friend Tom Erickson, all of Ojai.
A memorial service for Ronny will be held in Ojai on Sat, Aug 23rd, starting at 2pm at Tom and Judith’s home, 209 E Eucalyptus. For further information, please call Tom at 805-625-0481.
