The first Noble Peace Prize was awarded to long-time Ojai residents and peace activists Clive and Marion Leeman. Two of the nicest and most worthy people in Ojai!

i second the nomination of rosie and tillie, on account of their many thoughtful articles in the last year on behalf of peace toward all sentient creatures….
Thanks for answering the question for me, Tillie and Rosie! The Leemans have continued to organize and attend the Ojai Peace Vigil nearly every friday evening under the pergola since the war started, and they accepted the award on behalf of all vigil participants. There’s video of it HERE.
If you wanna nominate Ojai’s spokespigs for the award, go ahead! A selection committee from within the Ojai Peace Coalition will be sifting through the nominees and selecting this year’s recipient very soon!
