Beautiful!You are an amazing photographer!!
If I may suggest...I do wish you'd write a caption... even one word...just a hint... Is it the sun setting on Lake Casitas? It looks like you are standing on a mountain looking down at the sun reflected in the water...

If you sit on a beach below the cliffs on, say, Tower Island in the Galapagos, where the earth is so fresh that it has been dated to only 6,000 years old, you see black lava rock, covered with bird poop and seabird nests. You can see the process of earth being formed. The seabirds fetch fish from the sea, and seaweeds and kelp and the like, and as they deposit and excrete it on the rocks soils form. As the soil forms, plants set roots, and develop fruits to attract birds to their seeds. Birds eat, and fly, and spread the seed, and there comes food in the form of fruits to attract the amphibians to struggle their way from blue ocean onto land.
Now, on a previous post, it was posited that the purpose of humans, in common with other ambulatory mammals, is to serve plants by eating fruit, walking somewhere else, and shitting out the seeds.
But don't birds already do a fine enough job of that?

Meanwhile, elrev, there might be "pet psychics" over here on the Post. But I was just over on the OVN blog, and let me tell you, I wouldn't trade. If you really want to get down on Ojai, go over there and check out the hate and ugliness. Its like a pack of rabid dogs. (Coyotes maybe.) On computers that lack spellcheck.
"Pet psychics" I can take (in small doses). But if the pack of grammatically challenged haters over on the OVN blog truly reflects our town, we are done for. Might as well put up the for sale sign. Tough market be damned.
