Wow, that's a little self-serving, isn't it? It would be nice to see a more contextual discussion.

I agree with Guru. This is just an ad. The choice to go solar seems clear, but I still have lots of questions on the various solar options. For example, this ad only discusses photo-voltaic solutions. I suspect that a best solution for our household includes both PV and water/thermal components. I want more than "nice" folks to set it up for me and so I am learning more about the subject as time allows so I can DIY.

Are there any local groups looking into DIY solar solutions? Might be fun to have a local solar meetup or faire.
