Made In Ojai

I am pleased to announce Made In Ojai, a new gift gallery on Matilija St. set to open this summer. I find it fascinating that Ojai locals Roberta Raye and Gillian Bressani are opening in the space that Subway was slated for. Best of success to them, and I hope that Santa Barbara landlord Ernie Solomon has a great tenant for years to come.

An announcement from Made in Ojai for Ojai artisans after the jump...

Calling all OJAI VALLEY ARTISTS, CRAFTSPEOPLE, and PRODUCT MAKERS who would like to participate in a new shop opening this summer.

Made in Ojai will exclusively feature items from the Ojai Valley and we invite you to be part of this exciting opportunity. Please visit us at our (under-construction) store this week and bring photos or samples of your work as well as an artist’s statement or biography. Stop by 323 E. Matilija St. #101 (between Java and Joe’s and Matilija Mail call) during any of the following times to show your work:

Thursday, June 19 from 4-7 PM
Friday, June 20 from 1-4 PM
Saturday, June 21 from 9-Noon

For alternative dates please email Roberta Raye, roberta_raye@yahoo.com or Gillian Bressani, gillianmb@hotmail.com to schedule an appointment. We look forward to meeting all of you!

Now this sounds good!

Maybe they will have space for a shelf for books produced in Ojai
