I was speaking to the fire department last night and all this wind is blowing us the Zaca debris and the wind is to last another few days. The Captain said winds were to be 50-70 mph in the back country and temperatures in the mid-30s. Sounds like a bitter wind chill factor.

How's everyone doing with the air quality?

A while back, when everyone was attacking or defending Hillary and keeping their eye off of McBush, there was a contest proposed to see who could come up with the right shorthand name to call McBush/McCain throughout this campaign. Something that captures him exactly, and defines what is wrong with him for this country. Something that would make even a die-hard Repugnican hesitate before pulling the lever for the guy.

I think my three year old got it yesterday. The New York Times had a picture of McBush on the cover. She said, "Aah, its Gollum!" Held her ears and ran.

I think that's it! Looks just like him. Unless someone has a better one.

Coined here on the Ojai Post.

Or, maybe... McGollum!

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on the affordable housing issue in Ojai. Why is the lack of affordable housing not a big topic in Ojai?

Okay. Looks like the wheels have finally come off the Clinton bus. She's actually going around now saying Obama's gonna be assassinated and therefore she should stay in the race! WTF!
