DC Street Drummer

Hey from Washington, DC, evening before Memorial Day. Check out the video - with road cones and paint buckets, dude lays down a heavy beat. Hope to post more from here and NYC throughout the week (here's another photo...)

Where are you now? Send us a blog! We want to know what's happening where you are!

Hey Demitri -

I am in DC, meeting with Congresswoman Lois Capps' office in a couple hours. Her office is just across the street and south of the Capitol. Then off to NYC on a train this afternoon, with a couple meetings on Thursday. I'll try to post some pics of DC.

Thanks!
Tyler

pray tell, what is the nature of your meeting with Capps' office?

Are we expected to pretend like it's perfectly normal to be in DC meeting with Congresswoman Lois Capps' office, then off on a train to NYC?

We are begging you to tell us more!!!

Hi all from Maplewood, NJ, before a train into NYC tomorrow morning. I mentioned this on the Post briefly in a comment a couple months back. I co-founded a new company, building a technology platform that will provide local emergency communications in communities across the US and around the world. You can check out Emergencity here...

So the representative I met with in Lois Capps' office was very gracious and helpful, just like the rep I met with in her Port Hueneme office. All good, off to a very interesting set of meetings tomorrow which I need to be necessarily coy about.
