Life is so Awesomely, Adorably, Fantastically, Holy/Sacredly, Lovingly Meaningless!!!
I truly love Ojai! So special, secluded, spiritually elite - yet oh so friendly and open. A perfect place to rest your weary head and find a soulmate (probably a Bijon, Maltese or Lesbian you met at the "200 Lesbians Ball")
It's a wonderful place to practice yoga in a silk, Om crystal studded stretch outfit, while listening to the latest Krshna Das Bhajan. You can also heal your body with a healthy diet of wheat grass, followed by a protein shake, Boca Burger and a natural thick chocolate cake chaser from Rainbow Bridge.
Ojai is one of those "natural illusions" that mesmerizes you with hope and secret longing for transformation. "Maybe", you pray, "If I experience the Pink Moment enough times, I'll evolve into that 'Being of Light' that 'Open Present Moment', that the great Krishna Murti and all the other "Holy Krishna Murtis" have been talking about! Maybe, I'll finely get it! Right here in Ojai!"
Well, my darling Ojai-ers! Fortunately, there's an answer to all your longing, begging, praying cajoling and meditating for that LIGHT! And here it is! Enjoy, Much love to you all, Dvorah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vctovhDQv8

I opted for a coffee and cream cheese pumpkin muffin from Java and Joe's for lunch, myself. Welcome aboard, Dvorah, great to have you here!

I opted for the sashimi at Sakura for lunch, with a cream cheese brownie from Farmer & the Cook and Yerba Matte from Coffee Connection. Then I became one with the raging Matilija and THEN I meditated only to realize I had been meditating all along.

Never understood or agreed
with this "meaningless"
silly stuff. Life is empty
for those who look for
validity and full to those
who participate in it's
everpresent bounty.

Pete, life isn't "meaningless , empty or just silly stuff". That's not what I meant. The song doesn't imply "stupid, boring, spiritualy, ridiculous meaningless" - it tells you that life is, in fact full of the most awesomely, delightfully, lovingly, outrageously, holy/sacredly, astoundingly meaningful/meaningless. The kind of meaningless that has you staring at the moon with awe and inspiration: the kind of meaningless that fills you with natural prayer and joy when see how the "eye" works or an ant carting a huge piece of food up the hill. True Meaningless is timeless, unfathonable - the open secret. Go deeply into "meaningless". Find the joke - or not! Either way, seems to me you're satisfied with your life and meaning and "life's everpresent bounty!

I think I prefer Dvorah when she's on, actually!
What a fun meaningless/meaningful way to look at life!
It's something I have learned to embrace as I walk through this life with my children around me... stopping to watch the little things, letting the other things go, and accepting that what matters most is taking the time to smile at the simplicity of beauty around me, rather than trying to delve into the deeper searching for meaning...
Does everything really have to have a meaning, or can it just be, and can we just accept it?
Smile and give thanks!
