what a super-cool tool!
(which is to say nothing of the fact that as of now, just 5 votes in, the front-runner is "None of the above". Ouch.)

I have to confess I was curious if this Poll lets you vote more than once. So, I tested it and voted three times. I did not get a "thank you, you have already voted" message. Sorry to be a troublemaker but how can you be sure of the results?

Well, I stand corrected. I checked again and the Poll deducted my extra votes. This is very cool. Forgive me for even thinking you would not think of this!

It would be neat if you could also write-in, in which case my vote would go to Jim Loebl.

Malcolm, I'm disappointed in you! What about your former sister-in law?
By the way, Malcolm (a former Ojai resident who was himself involved in Ojai politics) is the proud father of Santa Barbara City Councilperson Das Williams (my nephew, who was born and raised in Ojai) who was recently re-elected by a landslide. We are all very proud of him!

Citizens for Peaceful Resolutions had Das speak at one of our meetings a few months back...very engaging, very smart, very charismatic!

Ah... Another write-in (how could I forget?!): Suza!
(Thanks Suza and Evan... All of us in the family still consider Ojai our true home...)

When I first began to be familiar to these folks they all mostly seemed genuine and concerned about Ojai. But by their being involved and near to the process and power- well even the best laid intentions sometimes go...
