New York Times Gives A Nod To Shangri-La

Just a quick note to say that the New York Times casts Ojai in a fairly favorable light in today's article in their travel section. The article also includes a photo of my boss and his puppy, with some commentary from David on what makes Ojai great (no comment from the puppy, though). The author mentions the chain store initiatives, housing prices, and other issues facing Ojaians. Check it out.

PS You are so lucky to have David Allen as your boss! I would get more things done if I wasn't reading the Ojai Post!

Anyone know anything about the turtle refuge? Is it open to the public?

Ann: the turtle refuge is behind David's house, on the East end. I believe it is private (i.e. a refuge for them) -- but I'm not entirely sure.
