Thank you Stacey and Kent
So, I might be overstepping a line or two [everyone's going to have their favorite coffee shop!], but I want to talk briefly at one of the local businesses I frequent - the Ojai Coffee Roasting Company.
Known under various aliases such as: The Coffee Shop, Stacey's place, The Roaster, (or The Roasters), That Coffee Shop across from that little cafe (one of my favorites)
I was in earlier this week, and Stacey made the announcement, "We're now serving salads and sandwiches." And, it turns out appetizers as well!
We've had lunch there twice this week, here's a picture of a salad we enjoyed...

nice post, Jason, I'm looking forward to having lunch there sometime soon.
(this is also a system test - thanks everyone for your patience as we work out a couple kinks)

This is a great idea. I am not a coffee drinker but salads are up my alley. How 'bout some smoothies too?

I also love the sandwiches. I had a great tuna and provolone with a side salad. Nice touch Kent & Stacey!

The Ojai Coffee Roasting Co. is an amazing place to hang out and have lunch and a cup of coffee. Their gourmet ingredients, their fabulous people in the kitchen, and the wonderful group of girls who work in the front make my day every time i go in. Stacey and Kent hire the sweetest girls and they are always willing to serve! They always seem to be doing something and not just hanging out behind the counter talking about their personal life. Ojai Coffee Roasting Co. is truly a very nice place to go and I would recommend it to anyone! Also they are slowing making improvements to the place. They recently got new menu boards, which are beautiful! Keep it up Ojai Coffee Roasting Co.!

Always good to revive a thread where kudos are in order. I couldn't agree more about Stacey and Kent and their business. When I'm not working during the week, I head over there for coffee and WiFi - even though I have both at home. Just last week I was toured around the back areas by the proud parent (Stacey) of their new kitchen and roasting areas.

I can't rave enough about the salads and sandwiches at OCRC! Our office orders tuna salads probably once a week and just recently I tried the messy pita sandwich and thought I had gone to heaven! Everyone must try the food here. It is amazing.
p.s. my friends LOVE the Reuben sandwich - very authentic.

Kenley, your grace and compassion has moved me to effectualize again the nourishing quotation spoken on frequent occasions by you (monastic?) “experience isn’t what happens to us, but how we choose to regard what has happened to us..."
be free little butterfly in eye of god.
