Hey folks, warm welcome to new Ojai Post author Robin Walter, our first student. A senior at Thacher, Robin is involved in numerous non-profits, her school and her community. I am looking forward to hearing much more from that mysterious little corner of the Ojai Valley...

Welcome to the Ojai Post Robin. It's about time we heard from someone on the Thacher campus. My family has deep roots with Thacher School. My dad, Rene Diets, worked in the business office for over 25 years and we like to think we did our share to keep the school afloat. Back then, ofcourse, it was an all boy's school and the biggest thrill when I was a teen was getting a date with a guy from Thacher ...

Here we go again with another fire and the Santa Ana is supposed to last through the week, 100 on tuesday. I think I need a respirator. Here's a link to the inciweb data on this one, they're calling it the Ranchland Fire:
