A beautiful five minute video on the Ventura River watershed
Starring our own Steve Sprinkel and other luminaries working to protect our most precious natural resource: WATER!
Here is a web link to a five minute video on the Ventura River watershed. It was sent by Richard Handley (Ojai Land Conservancy). The video was a class project for an instructor at Brooks Institute.
Rich Handley writes:
" Last week I spent a day working with local photographer Rich Reid on a video project about the watershed. We visited several people working to protect and restore the Ventura River ecosystem: "

I finally had the chance to watch this. For me personally, it's a double edge sword. Of course, I want our children's children to enjoy the benefits of vital watershed course correction that needs to be done now, simultaneously I live at the bottom of Matilja Dam and will be displaced as the deconstruction of it contributes it's piece to bringing the river sytem back to health. Clearly, I can find a new place to live, and the priority is restoration.

Thank you Suza for posting this video. Today I showed it to Tom Jamison, (he is running for re-election to the Ventura River Community Water District). We both agreed that protection of the watershed is the most important idea of the video. Tom may be one of the good ol' boys but he got it. Thank you for putting this out there.
