I know of no Ojai mascot or Ojai Post mascot but surely this is it. I’m in love and it’s with a tiny goat. Is he/she a dwarf or nubian?

Just back from Alaska and that’s even cuter than the musher pups I saw!

That goat would be a great mascot for Ojai. With all the fires going on, and the need for abating brush around homes in the mountains, goats and sheep would make great brush abatement stewards. Does anyone know how much they actually eat. Also, I always thought they should have been used along Shelf road, and many other locations through out the valley. You can’t accidentally start a fire with them as one could with machines such as chain saws, picks and motor vehicles.

What a cute little guy. His name should be “Norman”, just my thought.

I just noticed the article in the Ojai Valley News Blog about the traffic light that is to be installed at the Rite Aid.
I’m curious how readers feel about it?
I have never felt one was needed

Have you ever tried to turn left from there onto the 33? Impossible!

I do it every day.
I like to take advantage of that middle lane.
The real pain for me is the left turn I have to make from Willey onto 33. Sometimes I have to wait 5-10 minutes for an opening
