Thanks. Especially for the link to Curbed LA. They’ve got a great sense of humor. I read portions of the Star, OVN and now this with the link to Curbed (Curbed? why that name?). My conclusion? This world is mad, mad, mad; which produces comedy and tragedy. I have to check out the new Ojai News to see how it’s coping.
The only subway I’ve ever encountered was in Paris; more madness which we build up a tolerance to, and then make comedy out of. Now Ojai has its own version of subway, a sub-stitute for real food, emblematic of a real town being substituted by phony culture.
Rather than picking apart the multitudinous symptoms, I feel a need to attack the root problems. Of course, this is about as popular as a fire in a subway, which tragedy might produce an entertaining spoof like the above. Madness, I say, madness, parading as sophistication.
