Music to Heal the Lungs By
i'd venture to guess that not many people know the names or faces of any of the projectionists at any of the corporate movie theaters in this country, even the "local" (read: geographically close) ones like Century. but here in Ojai, our projectionist's name is Glenn Emanuel, and he's got the most gorgeous eyes and warm, ready smile. he's a tall lanky fellow with a curly mop of hair and broad, expressive hands. he's also got lung cancer.
he told me this himself, when i saw him recently at Rainbow Bridge. it was the first thing he said, and he did it with a slight smile on his face. not that it isnt serious, but i strongly suspect that Glenn's got a specific and philosophical constitution that isnt very friendly to depression or sympathy-gathering. i'm told by his partner Cheri Mason that Glen has chosen to forego the traditional toxic therapies for cancer, and is instead focusing on "nutrition, yoga, magnets, and herbs", and in honorable form is treating his cancer in the same way he treats others and the world: peacefullly, with life-affirming practices and natural cures.

I thought I read in the OVN that the benefit started at 10, after the regular movie. Are you sure of the time, Evan? I only glanced at the paper....
Glenn is such a fixture of the Ojai Valley. I love to see people coming together to support him.

thank you..you are most probably right. in reviewing the original info i got from Glenn's partner Cheri, it does say "10pm TO whenever". i checked back through the various messages, and can confirm through a clearer read that it's this friday AT 10pm. i'll edit the post above.

Glenn always shares a colourful gentility!
Devi Shah advised him to do the electrical zapper treatment ... which is probably very good ... that and massive exercise like swimming/ bicycling, and the raw food diet ... with TOTAL lifestyle change/evaluation! A new Glen, a new birth.
Most traditional Chinese medicine practicioners, in Chinatown, for a few dollars and a few herbs, can take care of 99 percent of cancers ... ditto the well-known cleanses such as those published by Hulda Clark, and countless natural remedies worldwide.
Focus on breathing, bringing the Kundalini to life everyday, and your Triple-Warmer, and keep building them stronger.
Certainly wouldn't recommend 10pm parties -- rather fourteen hours of sleep a day, and a healthy day-oriented 'celebration' out in nature -- leading to the divine awakening!
