Raw almonds have been banned!

The Almond Board of California, which oversees virtually 100 percent of the almonds grown and consumed in the United States and Canada, is now implementing plans to pasteurize all almonds at temperatures up to 158 degrees (F) and yet have them intentionally and falsely labeled as "raw." If you're interested in this issue, be sure to visit the Almond Board of California website to submit a message to them. Get involved! Save the raw almonds. :)

You can blame the lawyers for this. Companies are affraid they will be sued by someone claming they got salamanila poisoning from eating raw almonds. Its a shame.

There's always raw caschews... I hope.
