If you’re interested in this issue, be sure to visit the Almond Board of California website to submit a message to them. Get involved! Save the raw almonds.
You can blame the lawyers for this. Companies are affraid they will be sued by someone claming they got salamanila poisoning from eating raw almonds. Its a shame.
