Petition Signing Locations
Sign the petition to support local business and regulate chain stores. Read the City Attorney Summary or the text of the measure. The following are times and locations where you can sign the Formula Retail Business Initiative.

We have reached 10% of the voters and will continue to push for our 15% goal -- not bad for three weeks (since April 27). Remember, if you can help, let me know. If you live in the City Limits of Ojai and can collect 14 (or more) signatures, call me at 646-4832 and I'll bring you the form.

It's time to redouble our efforts and get the signatures we need in the next few weeks. Even though we have until October to collect signatures, the longer we wait, the more likely we will have more chain stores in Ojai.
Just yesterday, Subway decided to keep their lease on Matilija after canceling it a week ago. Though our petition will not prevent Subway (it really isn't just about Subway), it is important to get something on the books for the future.

That's why I'll be collection signatures in front of Star Market from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you haven't signed the petition yet, and you are a registered voter elegible to vote here in the city limits of Ojai, come on down.
